The Trial of Tessa

Way back in the eighties, my best friend Joanne and I would spend all our time reading about and drawing X-men. Well, we were always fascinated by Tessa, because she was always in the background in the Hellfire Club, but you never really knew anything about her.

Here is the untold 6 page origin story of Tessa (now known by the codename Sage), originally drawn and scripted circa 1987. While I will be updating these 6 pages and finishing the pencils and inks on them, on the eve of the release of more info regarding Tessa's origins, I thought it would be best to tell the story that has been kept secret for 17 years.
